The Koi Art Master, Mr. Hsu Tseng Chung is famous for his oil paintings, especially in nishikigoi painting. He started koi painting in the 80's. He also has been a koi dealer in Taiwan over 5 years also.

His best known painting is the Japanese Champion Showa of Mr. Kato. The showa comes from the blood line of Dainich Koi Farm in Japan(see right).

His paintings are very popular among Japanese koi farms, such as Dainichi, Konishi, Momotaro, Narita, Sakai, Marugiku, Nikoen, Sanluku as well as in many Asian countries.

Mr. T. C. Hsu said, "Koi Art itself is a never ending art creation. It is a combination of beauty and elegance for admiration and the keeping skill of live Koi. Moreover, it deeply affects the character of a person, especially in terms of wisdom and integrity.

As for a Koi hobbyist, the goal is to bring out the goodness of humanity and the know-how of Koi keeping rather than just simply winning at Koi Shows. - It is then that you may consider yourself a Koi Expert.

I have been participating in the Koi field for over a quarter century. I would rate Koi Art as my divine goal in life. To excel in koi keeping skills and art means to seek and improve my personal character and the keeping skills of koi. Aside from enjoying the trophies from Koi Shows, koi art draws fun and joy from admiring Koi. Because of my love for koi art, I have also met many people from different parts of the world whom I would never have met otherwise.
